The FGSW-2620RS provides 24 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet ports and two Gigabit Ethernet ports, either TP or SFP per port. The two Gigabit ports either can be 1000Base-T for 10/100/1000Mbps or 1000Base-SX/LX through SFP (Small Factor Pluggable) interface. The distance can be extended from 100 meters (TP), 550 meters (Multi-mode fiber), up to above 10/50/70/120 kilometers (Single-mode fiber).
The FGSW-2620RS, equipped with non-blocking 8.8Gbps backplane, greatly simplifies the tasks of upgrading your LAN for catering to increase bandwidth demands. For efficient management, the FGSW-2620RS 24-Port 10/100Mbps + 2 Gigabit TP / SFP combo Ethernet Smart Switch is equipped with console interface.
The FGSW-2620RS can be programmed for basic switch management functions such as port speed configuration, Port Trunking, VLAN, QoS, bandwidth control, and IGMP Snooping.
The FGSW-2620RS provides port-based VLAN (including overlapping). The VLAN groups, allowed on the FGSW-2620RS, will be maximally up to 26 for port-based VLAN. Via supporting port trunking, the FGSW-2620RS allow the operation of a high-speed trunk combining multiple ports. The FGSW-2620RS also provide eight groups of up to 4-ports for trunking, and it supports fail-over as well.
Workgroup Switch
With 24 10/100Mbps ports and up to two copper or Gigabit-Ethernet fiber ports, the FGSW-2620RS provides a cost-effective, high-performance solution for power users.
Department Switch
With its 8.8 Gigabits per second, non-blocking switch fabric, the FGSW-2620RS can easily provide a local, high bandwidth, Fast Ethernet network for backbone of your department. With the two SFP ports, the FGSW-2620RS provides the uplink to the backbone network through Gigabit Ethernet LX / SX SFP modules.
